Arizona Faces Weather Tomorrow With Approaching Storm Systems
A series of incoming weather systems will bring scattered showers, potential flooding risks, and cooler temperatures across Arizona over the weekend.

Tracking Upcoming Conditions and the Weather Tomorrow
As residents monitor the weather tomorrow, a succession of weather systems is set to bring shifting conditions throughout Arizona. Current showers and thunderstorms affecting the region are expected to subside overnight, granting a temporary pause by Saturday morning.
While the first half of Saturday remains mostly quiet, conditions will change as a second weather system approaches later in the day. Rain chances will increase heading into Saturday evening and persist through Sunday.
Weekend Storm Timeline and Flood Watches
A flood warning remains active until 10:45 p.m. on Friday in the northeast Valley. Following this, a broader flood watch takes effect from Saturday night through Monday morning across most of the state, excluding western Arizona.
Precipitation will begin as scattered showers through Saturday evening and overnight, transitioning into a more widespread, long-duration rain event by Sunday morning. Forecasters note that while extremely strong storms producing massive rainfall amounts at once are not anticipated, flooding remains a concern due to the prolonged, on-and-off nature of the rainfall expected throughout Sunday hours.
Temperatures and Regional Forecasts
Expect daytime high temperatures to reach approximately 78 degrees on Saturday. As the storm system progresses, temperatures will drop to a high of around 70 degrees on Sunday.
For those tracking specific locations such as Arizona, drier air is scheduled to push into the region by Sunday evening. Although lingering showers might affect eastern Arizona on Monday morning, overall conditions are expected to yield a quiet start to the workweek in Phoenix.
