Allegiant Air Canceled Destinations List Reveals Four Airports Cut
Schedule analysis reveals the allegiant air canceled destinations list featuring four airports dropped from the airline network between January and October 2026.

Overview of the Allegiant Air Canceled Destinations List
Schedule analysis covering January to October 2026 highlights the official allegiant air canceled destinations list, revealing four airports that no longer receive the ultra-low-cost carrier's aircraft. While all airlines experience route and airport adjustments, the recent changes mark a notable shift for the carrier's network map.
Airports Dropped From the Network
The schedule data points to four specific locations that have been removed from the airline's active map during 2026:
- Los Angeles International Airport (LAX): Ended service in January 2026 after being part of the network since 2009.
- Columbia Metropolitan Airport (CAE): Ended service in May 2026 following a brief return in May 2025.
- Oakland San Francisco Bay Airport (OAK): Ended service in May 2026 after entering the network in 2009.
- Palm Springs International Airport (PSP): Ended service in May 2026 after joining the network in 2005.
Interestingly, while LAX and PSP are technically still listed as served, operations are now handled by Sun Country rather than Allegiant itself, following Sun Country's acquisition by the Allegiant Travel Company.
California and South Carolina Route Reductions
Three of the four eliminated airports are located in California, following the earlier removal of flights to San Diego in September 2025. Consequently, Allegiant now serves only six locations within the Golden State, while the San Francisco Bay area has been completely removed from its regular map.
Similarly, operations in South Carolina faced cutbacks. Although Allegiant returned to Columbia Metropolitan Airport in May 2025 after a 16-year absence, only 47.3% of seats were filled. The carrier officially pulled out just 12 months later, leaving it with three remaining cities in the state: Charleston, Greenville/Spartanburg, and Myrtle Beach.
Broader Network Activity
Between November 2026 and next May, Cirium Diio data indicates that the carrier's airframes will visit 123 airports across the domestic network, with Orlando Sanford seeing the most flights, followed by Tampa St. Pete and Punta Gorda. Overall, influenced by multiple route reductions, the airline's scheduled activity has declined by 32% compared to the previous year's timeframe.
