Andhra Pradesh Civics Polls: Early Ap Election Results Show NDA Ahead
Vote counting is underway across 92 urban local bodies in Andhra Pradesh as early trends show the NDA taking an early lead in corporate contests.

Overview of Ap Election Results
Vote counting is currently underway across 92 urban local bodies throughout Andhra Pradesh, bringing significant attention to the ongoing ap election results. Early trends indicate that the NDA has taken an early lead across all 13 municipal corporations.
While officials process ballots across multiple centres, local administrations are working to manage regional challenges and logistical hiccups. The results are expected to be rolled out continuously throughout the day.
Ap Municipal Election Results and Weather Delays
Severe weather conditions have impacted schedules in specific regions. Because of Cyclone Murasu, vote counting for the Ongole Municipal Corporation at the RISE Engineering College centre commenced at noon instead of the scheduled 8 a.m.
Similarly, staff members faced transportation hurdles reaching counting venues in Nellore due to the cyclone. Nellore District Collector Himanshu Shukla noted that subsequent rounds are planned to conclude within 60 minutes each, with final outcomes anticipated by 6 p.m.
Pulivendula Election Results and Regional Updates
Legal clearance from the High Court allowed counting for the Pulivendula election results to proceed smoothly, where Prameelamma holds a lead. Meanwhile, minor tensions emerged at the Kuppam counting centre inside Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s constituency following disagreements between rival political workers, though police confirmed the situation remains under control.
In the Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) contests, initial wins have been recorded by various groups, including the TDP, Jana Sena Party, and CPI(M). In Kakinada's Peddapuram municipality, NDA parties captured seven of the first eight declared wards. Authorities have instructed winning candidates to avoid public celebration rallies in adherence to the Model Code of Conduct.
