Jay-Z to Headline Superbowl 2027

Rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z has announced that he will take the stage himself to headline the upcoming halftime performance. The upcoming event marks a major shift, as the adviser who normally helps select talent will step directly into the spotlight.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell shared that when an initial agreement was reached with Roc Nation to produce the show, he had only one request: that the mogul take the stage whenever the moment felt right. The announcement did not confirm or rule out any other guest performers for the event.

While official details regarding additional performers remain unconfirmed, speculation surrounds whether the event will feature other artists, such as his wife, Beyoncé. Previous years have featured acclaimed performances, such as Bad Bunny's appearance at last year's event. As preparations continue for February 2027, further announcements regarding the full lineup and production details are expected closer to the date.
