Nike Vegam Run Shoes Launch in India to Target New Runners
Nike has introduced its first running shoe designed specifically for India, offering a blend of daily cushioning, breathability, and versatile style.

Nike has introduced a brand new footwear line aimed at serving the country's rising running community. The newly developed nike vegam run shoes provide an accessible entry point into regular athletic movement and everyday tasks.
Designed to support daily miles and frequent wear, the footwear bridges the gap between structured athletic training and casual daily routines. According to company representatives, the project honors local feedback by delivering comfort and versatility at a more accessible price point.
Built With Local Insights for India's Runners
To shape the new footwear, developers collaborated directly with runners across the region to understand how participants train and move through everyday life. These discussions revealed a strong demand for a model that performs equally well during physical workouts and casual daytime wear.
The resulting nike vegam run shoes feature an engineered mesh upper for lightweight breathability alongside a plush foam bed that supplies responsive cushioning. Perimeter rubber enhances outsole durability, while pull tabs make the footwear simple to put on and remove.
Design Aesthetics and Fast Development Timeline
The visual style reflects modern local momentum, featuring bold color choices such as an After Dark Tour expression honoring a December stop in Mumbai. This rapid product creation moved from initial design brief to a confirmed product in just 55 days, taking roughly five months from concept to final launch.
Availability and Global Rollout Plans
Shoppers can purchase the nike vegam run shoes starting November 1 through Flipkart and select retail locations across India. A wider distribution phase via local partners is scheduled for spring 2027, followed by an international market expansion later that same year.
