Panthers vs Eagles: Carolina Defeats Philadelphia 25-14
Bryce Young and Chuba Hubbard led the Carolina Panthers to a 25-14 victory over the injury-riddled Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Panthers vs Eagles Match Overview
Bryce Young threw for 281 yards and two touchdowns while Chuba Hubbard added 120 rushing yards and a score to guide the Carolina Panthers past the Philadelphia Eagles with a 25-14 victory on Sunday. The outcome extended the struggling Eagles' losing streak to four games.
The visiting Panthers improved to 3-2 on the season, taking advantage of a second half where they steadily picked apart a depleted Philadelphia roster. The Eagles dropped to 2-4 overall.
Stagnant Offense for Philadelphia
Entering the matchup, the quarterback showdown appeared to be a mismatch. With Jalen Hurts sidelined due to a calf blood clot that will keep him out for at least four games, backup Tanner McKee made his third career start. The Eagles were also missing running back Saquon Barkley alongside backup rushers Will Shipley and Tank Bigsby due to injuries.
McKee struggled throughout the afternoon, finishing 26 of 45 for 215 yards and a touchdown. He was sacked for an 11-yard loss on the game's opening play from scrimmage. Although he connected with DeVonta Smith for a 19-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter to narrow the deficit to 19-14, the offense stalled repeatedly and punted on its first five drives.
Carolina Capitalizes in the Second Half
Young and the Panthers capitalized on the host's offensive miscues. Young connected twice with Tommy Tremble for 19-yard touchdowns, sealing the contest with the second score in the final period. Hubbard also contributed a 2-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter following a crucial third-down conversion.
Kicker Ryan Fitzgerald added field goals of 47 and 52 yards for Carolina, maintaining his streak of successful attempts to open the year despite missing an extra point. Dameon Pierce had scored on a 2-yard run for Philadelphia to cut the halftime deficit to 10-7, but the hosts were shut out in the third quarter.
Looking Ahead
Both teams face quick turnarounds following the contest. The Panthers prepare to host Tampa Bay next Sunday, whereas the Eagles return to action on Monday, October 26, to host Dallas.
