Filmmaker quentin tarantino has finished a script for his tenth movie, but he is in no hurry to begin production while focusing on a stage play.

Quentin Tarantino Shares Update on Tenth Film
The acclaimed filmmaker quentin tarantino has finished writing a script for his tenth feature project. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, the 63-year-old director explained that while he has a screenplay he is very fond of, he is in no rush to move forward with production immediately.
Having long stated his intention to finish his directing career after ten movies, tarantino shelved his previous plan to make a project titled The Movie Critic. His most recent directorial release remains the 2019 feature Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
Focus Shifts to a London Stage Play
Before returning to the conversation surrounding his final film, the creator intends to shift his complete attention toward a different creative venture. His immediate priority is his theatrical debut, a comedy titled The Popinjay Cavalier, which stars Sacha Baron Cohen.
Initially conceptualized as a screenplay before the writer realized it suited the stage better, the production is officially described as a swashbuckling narrative with a French farce quality. Set in 1830s Europe, the plot follows an actor who travels to perform in Paris, only for his journey to turn hazardous after he makes poor remarks regarding the French.
Future Plans and Theatrical Schedule
The upcoming London production is set to stage performances at the Phoenix Theatre. Previews are scheduled to start on February 23, 2027, leading up to an official opening night on March 18, 2027, and concluding its run on June 13, 2027.
Speaking about his current mindset, the director noted that he wants to complete the play first to see who he becomes creatively. Afterward, he plans to spend quality time with his family and enjoy everyday life before revisiting the prospect of another motion picture.
