The Jacob & Co. Ram Janmabhoomi Timepiece
Kapoor was spotted wearing the Jacob & Co. Epic X Ram Janmabhoomi Rose Gold Edition. This elaborate luxury item carries a price tag of ₹78 lakh and merges Swiss horology with cultural architecture inspired by India's Ram Janmabhoomi temple.
The timepiece was developed in partnership with Indian luxury watch retailer Ethos Watches to mark the consecration of the Ram Mandir located in Ayodhya. Its design combines precious materials with intricate relief engravings and an exposed mechanical movement.
Design and Technical Specifications
Belonging to the Epic X collection introduced in 2015, the watch features a 44mm case crafted from 18K rose gold. This warm metallic tone is paired with a vibrant orange rubber strap. The skeletonised dial displays the interior mechanics rather than hiding them behind a conventional surface.
The timepiece uses the hand-wound JCAM02 skeleton calibre, manufactured by Swiss specialist Concepto. Comprising 158 components, the movement functions at 28,800 vibrations per hour and features a power reserve lasting 48 hours. Sapphire crystals on both the front and back allow a clear view of the inner engineering.
