gt 750 details revealed at EICMA 2026

Royal Enfield showcased the Continental gt 750 during the 2026 EICMA exhibition, presenting it as a sibling model to the Himalayan 750. Both bikes share a 743cc twin‑cylinder powerplant that produces around 55hp and 63Nm of torque.

Engine and performance

The gt 750’s engine is identical to that of the Himalayan 750, but the throttle is cable‑actuated rather than electronic. Twin exhaust pipes replace the Himalayan’s 2‑into‑1 system, while the power output is expected to stay in the same range.

Chassis, suspension and brakes

Visually, the frame resembles the 650cc version but has been adapted for the larger motor. The bike uses a telescopic front fork and twin rear shocks, both preload‑adjustable, with conventional linear springs. Front braking is handled by twin disc calipers, likely the same units used on the Himalayan 750.

Design, colours and equipment

Three finishes are offered: Master Clean, Red Line and TT Blue. The first two feature chrome details, wire‑spoke wheels and tubed Veredestein Centauro ST tyres, while TT Blue comes with alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. The red and blue versions include a small quarter fairing and a more aggressive riding posture; the chrome version lacks a fairing and offers a more relaxed ergonomics.

All variants sit on 18‑inch wheels and have a single‑piece seat that can accommodate a passenger, with the pillion area covered by a removable cowl.

Relation to the Himalayan 750

Alongside the gt 750, Royal Enfield also unveiled the Himalayan 750, which will debut at the upcoming MotoVerse event. The Himalayan is available in five colour options, as reported by ZigWheels, and shares many mechanical components with the gt 750, including the engine and braking system.

Future availability

Production of the gt 750 is slated for release in India, likely in the first quarter of next year, following the Himalayan 750 launch. No official price or detailed specifications have been confirmed yet.
