Reflecting on her youth, Saba noted that Amrita offered a gentler perspective compared to her own stricter upbringing at the time. She explained that she found comfort in accepting guidance from Amrita, especially when it came to everyday matters.

Beyond personal advice, Saba recalled how Amrita frequently paid close attention to her appearance, particularly her clothes, accessories, and colour choices. If a particular combination did not work well together, Amrita would point it out so Saba could learn to dress more appropriately for future meetings.

Changes After the 2004 Separation

The dynamic within the family shifted after Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh brought their 13-year marriage to a close in 2004. Saba suggested that Amrita likely needed time and space for herself following the split, leading to less frequent interactions over the years.

Despite the distance, Saba emphasized that there is no lingering resentment. Both remain entirely cordial whenever they cross paths, and Saba continues to hold fond memories of her interactions with Amrita as well as children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
