Virat Kohli Faces Tough Test in Nets Ahead of Ind vs Nz ODI Series

Preparations Begin for the Ind vs Nz ODI Matches

Team India has already secured victory in the T20 series, and attention now shifts toward the upcoming fixtures. Preparations are officially underway, and recent practice sessions have drawn significant interest from followers and media alike.

Auqib Nabi Tests Senior Batters in Practice

During a recent training session, an unexpected challenge unfolded in the nets. Pacer Auqib Nabi Added to India Squad for Opening New Zealand ODIs initially came in as a replacement for Prasidh Krishna for the opening matches. Due to Krishna's injury, Nabi is now set to play the entire series.

While practicing, Nabi caused trouble for senior batter Virat Kohli by repeatedly finding the outside edge of his bat. His swinging deliveries caused initial difficulties, forcing defensive shots and pad contact. However, Kohli eventually adjusted and began hitting good shots against the young bowler's deliveries.

Looking Ahead to the Five-Match Series

Both Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma currently focus primarily on the fifty-over format. The upcoming five-match contest beginning on November 4 provides both veteran players an ideal platform to showcase their form and prove themselves on the field once again.
