Vodafone Idea Launches New Prepaid Add-on Pack

Vodafone Idea has rolled out a fresh prepaid add-on option for users across India. This new offering combines entertainment features with a specific डाटा प्लान to cater to consumers looking for regional language content without purchasing multiple separate subscriptions.

The newly introduced package is priced at 35 rupees and is tailored specifically for eligible prepaid subscribers who maintain an active service-validity plan. Users can acquire this through the mobile application or via supported third-party recharge platforms.

Streaming Benefits and OTT Access

As part of this offering, customers gain access to two regional over-the-top streaming services chosen from a curated selection spanning nine Indian languages. Available platforms include SonyLIV South, Chaupal, ManoramaMAX, KLiKK, AddaTimes, and Aao NXT.

To access the content, subscribers need to log into the Vi Movies & TV app using their mobile number after completing the recharge. While the included data and overall add-on pack carry a validity of 7 days, the selected streaming platform access remains active for a total of 28 days.

Regulatory Background and Prior Releases

This rollout follows previous plan introductions from the telecom operator. Last month, four voice-only prepaid recharge options priced at 179 rupees, 189 rupees, 203 rupees, and 206 rupees were introduced in the country. Those alternatives arrived directly following directives issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India.
