Impact of Lower Rates on સોનું And ચાંદી

Market participation expanded notably due to reduced retail rates for precious metals. Association representatives noted that 24-karat gold was priced at 1,46,500, whereas silver stood at 1.90 lakh, bringing silver values back to levels seen in previous years following heavy historical spikes.

Wedding Season Demand and Local Figures

Across approximately 550 to 600 retail outlets in the district, total transactions reached an estimated 9.5 to 10 crores. Jigneshbhai Soni, president of the local jeweler association, explained that buyers took advantage of the favorable pricing to acquire ornaments, coins, bars, and silver utensils for upcoming marriage ceremonies scheduled after the holiday period.
