Harley-Davidson has officially revealed its latest small-capacity cruiser model, featuring a 440cc single-cylinder engine and traditional styling cues.

Harley-Davidson Officially Reveals the New Small-Capacity Cruiser
Harley-Davidson has officially taken the wraps off its highly anticipated small-capacity motorcycle. The new harley davidson sprint 440 is designed as an accessible entry point into the brand's lineup, combining traditional cruiser aesthetics with modern equipment and manageable dimensions.
The historical name was first introduced back in 1961 as a lightweight option aimed at younger and less experienced riders. This modern iteration follows a similar philosophy by offering a low-slung stance alongside updated technology and mechanical components.
Performance and Specifications
At the heart of the harley-davidson sprint 440 sits a 440cc air- and oil-cooled single-cylinder motor. This powertrain generates 26.7bhp at 6,000rpm and 38Nm of torque at 4,000rpm, mated to a 6-speed transmission featuring an assist-and-slipper clutch. The setup is specifically tuned to deliver usable low-end torque for relaxed city commuting and highway cruising.
Suspension duties are managed by 43mm upside-down front forks with 130mm of travel, accompanied by twin rear shock absorbers that feature a seven-step preload adjustment. Stopping power relies on a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc equipped with standard anti-lock braking systems. The machine rolls on cast aluminium wheels measuring 19 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear.
Design and Accessibility Features
Styling elements include a teardrop-shaped fuel tank, a circular headlamp, a shortened rear mudguard, a stepped seat, a single exhaust, and machined aluminium wheels complemented by a distinct orange tank graphic. International buyers will find the model available in three distinct color options: Dark Billiard Grey, Vivid Black, and Teal Thunder.
Accessibility is a key focus, highlighted by a laden seat height of just 671mm. A narrow seat and fuel tank design reduce the distance riders need to stretch to reach the ground. The machine weighs approximately 189kg in running order, and alternative Reach and Tallboy seats will be offered as options.
Market Availability and Future Rollout
The motorcycle is slated for a public debut at EICMA 2026 in Milan, with pricing in the UK starting from £4,995. Harley-Davidson confirmed that the model will enter the American market in spring 2027, utilizing final assembly at its York facility in Pennsylvania. While Hero MotoCorp was involved in its development, neither manufacturer has officially confirmed a specific launch date or local pricing structure for the Indian market.
