HMD has officially introduced a fresh mobile device to the market under the trusted नोकिया brand name. The newly revealed Nokia 2360 Flip comes built in a clamshell form factor and supports 2G connectivity, targeting specific user groups.

Designed explicitly with children and elderly users in mind, the handset incorporates dedicated hardware and software tools aimed at simplifying daily communication and enhancing personal safety.

Key Safety and Family Assistance Tools

The primary highlight of this release is its Family Assist capability. This software lets an authorized family member remotely access and manage device settings, such as adjusting volume levels or setting reminders. Additionally, the exterior features a dedicated SOS button. When activated, this physical key automatically dispatches an emergency text message to pre-selected contacts.

Specifications and Display Features

The hardware configuration includes a 2.8-inch primary inner QVGA display with a 320 x 240 pixel resolution. On the outside, a secondary 1.77-inch QQVGA panel provides a resolution of 160 x 128 pixels. The device runs on the Symbian 30+ operating system.

For storage, it offers 4MB of internal space, which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. Users also get an MP3 player, an FM Radio function, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port for connectivity. The dual-SIM device measures 111.85×55.56×18.95mm and weighs 121 grams.

Battery Performance and Color Options

Powering the hardware is a 1450mAh removable battery. According to company claims, a single charge can deliver up to 15 days of standby backup alongside 27.5 hours of continuous talktime.

When it hits retail channels, buyers will be able to choose from three distinct color variants: charcoal, teal, and burgundy red. At present, the manufacturer has not disclosed specific pricing details or the official date when sales will commence.
