Kick Launches New Events Hub for Streamlined Livestream Discovery

Overview of the Kick Events Hub

Livestreaming platform kick has announced a new feature called Kick Events, creating a dedicated hub for viewers to discover live and upcoming broadcasts without searching manually. The feature was officially revealed through an X post on October 16.

The platform hosts various types of content on the hub, including competitions, marathons, esports tournaments, collaborations, and IRL streams. While creators broadcast directly on their personal channels, the new feature provides a centralized destination to locate them.

How Content Creators Get Featured

Content creators interested in showcasing their broadcasts must apply through a dedicated creator portal. Kick reviews and vets these applications before deciding on approvals.

Once approved, the platform contacts hosts regarding event details and promotional images. Approved hosts are then responsible for inviting participating creators. Random streamers cannot join simply by adding specific keywords to their titles.

Desktop Multi-View Capabilities

A primary element of the new hub is its multi-view capability on desktop computers. Viewers have the option to watch up to four streams simultaneously.

  • Broadcasts can be arranged in an even layout or configured with one primary focus window and smaller secondary screens.
  • Audio plays exclusively from the active stream.
  • Viewers can freely switch between different chat rooms.
  • Users can add or remove individual streams at any time, requiring a minimum of two broadcasts for multi-view mode.

Although multi-view was previously introduced following a partnership with Prodigy, integrating it with the events hub expands its utility for the audience.

Current and Past Featured Content

The front page of the new hub showcases a variety of scheduled and ongoing programs. Examples include Brand Risk 16, Safe Zone, COB Halloween Bash, and Valorant Champions 2026. Previously held programs such as MrBeast Team Water and the GTA VI Launch are also visible in the archives.

While specific criteria for front-page placement have not been publicly detailed, events hosted by major creators and those drawing substantial viewership are expected to occupy prominent positions.
