लॉरेंस बिश्नोई Shifted To High Security Sabarmati Jail Block
Gangster लॉरेंस बिश्नोई has been shifted to a high-security block in Sabarmati Jail alongside roughly 200 other dangerous prisoners.

Gangster लॉरेंस बिश्नोई has been moved to a high-security prison block in Ahmedabad. Investigators aim to tighten restrictions on his network through this relocation.
The notorious figure has been transferred to the '200 Kholi' high-security block inside Sabarmati Central Jail. This specific block accommodates roughly 200 dangerous offenders, which includes terrorists linked to the 2008 serial blasts.
Prison Transfer and Cell Details
According to reports, the high-security block is divided into four distinct sections to keep inmates separated and prevent movement between different cells. Each section houses 50 prisoners. The cell assigned measures approximately 7.5 by 11 feet. Prior to this, the inmate was housed in the smaller '10 Kholi' block within the same facility, and has a history of confinement in Delhi's Tihar Jail and various facilities in Punjab since May 10, 2023.
Network Control and Communications
Authorities implemented these tighter monitoring measures to curb external communication and digital access. While previous years saw allegations of threats and extortion originating from prison phones, investigators note that no direct phone calls or direct contacts have surfaced from him over the past two years. Outside interactions remain restricted mainly to video-conferencing for court hearings and discussions with legal counsel.
Despite his ongoing imprisonment, investigators indicate that his syndicate continues to operate internationally. Key associates allegedly manage daily recruitment and operations through distinct groups, while prominent members have reportedly gone underground following international law enforcement actions.
