Mark Bellingham Follows Jude and Jobe Bellingham Into National Team Fold
Mark Bellingham, father of football stars Jude and jobe bellingham, has received a surprise call-up to the England Veterans Over-50s squad.

Mark Bellingham Joins National Team Ranks
Mark Bellingham, the father of football professionals Jude and jobe bellingham, has been called up to the England Veterans Over-50s squad for an upcoming fixture. The 50-year-old forward is set for potential international honours after spending years playing across amateur and non-league pitches.
The English veterans’ association confirmed that the 18-man squad will assemble in Cambridgeshire ahead of their international fixture against the Republic of Ireland. Bellingham senior turns out for the older age bracket following his milestone birthday last March, bringing his long-standing amateur experience to the national setup.
A Long Non-League Career
Before achieving international recognition at the veterans level, Bellingham enjoyed a 17-year non-league playing career that stretched across 22 different clubs prior to his retirement in 2019. During the late 1990s, he established his reputation with spells at clubs such as Cheltenham Town and Newport County. His busiest appearances came later during stints with Leamington between 2008 and 2009 and Bromsgrove Sporting in 2014. Even after stepping away from his primary amateur career, he maintained his fitness by remaining active in veterans competitions.
Following His Sons Into International Football
With this selection, Bellingham senior follows his famous sons into international football colours. His older son, Jude, has accumulated significant experience with the senior England national setup, featuring prominently at major international tournaments alongside teammates like Harry Klein (noted in source as Harry Kane). Meanwhile, younger son jobe bellingham serves as a key leader for the under-21 team, having regularly worn the captain's armband for the Young Lions.
Match Details and Upcoming Fixture
The English veterans' association scheduled international matches against the Republic of Ireland to take place on Sunday, 1 November, at the Elite Football Complex in Cambridgeshire. The over-50s fixture is slated to kick off at 14.15, followed by the over-60s match at 16.15. Bellingham senior will have the opportunity to make his debut for the Three Lions veterans team during this gathering.
