Milwaukee Brewers vs Dodgers: Elimination Game Outlook
The Los Angeles Dodgers face a must-win scenario to stave off elimination as they battle the Milwaukee Brewers in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series. Milwaukee currently holds a commanding 3-0 lead in the series following a deflating Game 3 outcome for the home side.
Pitching Matchup and Lineup Adjustments
To keep their postseason hopes alive, the Dodgers will turn to Tyler Glasnow on the mound. Glasnow faces a tough task against a Milwaukee squad sending out Shane Drohan as an opener. Because Drohan is operating as the opener, the immediate impact on the field is the likely absence of Max Muncy from the starting lineup for Los Angeles. Pitcher May is also ready in the bullpen to step in for a multi-inning appearance if needed.
Struggling Offense and Series Momentum
Generating runs has proven to be a difficult challenge for the Dodgers throughout this series, regardless of which opposing pitchers they have faced. Game 3 featured a leadoff home run allowed by Blake Snell, followed by Milwaukee responding in the seventh inning after Los Angeles briefly scored in the previous frame. That ongoing offensive slump made it hard for the crowd at Dodger Stadium to maintain sustained energy.
Game Information
The matchup takes place at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, with a scheduled start time of 5:08 p.m. Fans can catch the television broadcast on FS1, featuring the commentary team of Joe Davis, John Smoltz, Ken Rosenthal, and Tom Verducci.
