Filming Underway in the French Alps
Cameras have officially started rolling in the French Alps for a high-adrenaline feature project titled Pumping Black. The production is being led by prominent performers Jonathan Bailey and Oscar winner natalie portman.
Plot and Creative Team
The narrative unfolds within the competitive world of elite professional cycling. The story centers on Taylor Mace, a 35-year-old athlete who is beginning to age out of his sport. He finds himself mentored by Andrea Lathe, a doctor driven by a fierce desire for power and victory. As the competition advances, Taylor resorts to increasingly severe measures to guard his competitive edge and his hidden secrets.
Mimi Cave directs the feature from a script crafted by Haley Hope Bartels. Financial backing and global sales are being managed fully by Anton Studios, with Creative Artists Agency co-representing the United States market.
Cast Additions and Production Schedule
Alongside Bailey and natalie portman, the cast features previously announced actors Lukas Gage and Alex Akpobome. The ensemble has expanded further with the recent additions of Daniel Quinn-Toye, Lucas Lynggaard Tønnesen, César winner Arieh Worthalter, and Emmy winner Tony Hale.
The ongoing shooting schedule is expected to continue through early December, bringing the cycling thriller closer to completion.
