A severe road collision in Jalandhar has claimed the lives of two young individuals, prompting an outpouring of grief from prominent figures including entertainer यो यो हनी सिंह. The fatal crash took place during the early morning hours on a flyover situated near the local police line.

According to local law enforcement from the Baradari police station, authorities received information regarding the incident at approximately 3 AM. Municipal corporation sanitation workers had parked a tractor-trolley on the flyover to collect debris and garbage while performing cleaning duties. The victims, traveling in a Volkswagen automobile, collided heavily with the back of the stationary municipal vehicle.

The individuals who lost their lives were identified as 18-year-old Vidit Olak—son of Dinesh Olak, who owns the Punjabi music enterprise Speed Records—and 19-year-old Aarav Talwar, whose family operates Pappi Sweets. Both young men resided in the Seth Hukumchand Colony area of Jalandhar.

Following the confirmation of the incident, rapper and singer यो यो हनी सिंह turned to social media to share his sorrow, stating that he had lost his nephew and describing the moment as an intensely difficult period. Familial sources and police officials noted that the victims had earlier attended a birthday celebration, after which friends from Chandigarh had also joined them in separate vehicles.

Authorities confirmed that the families chose not to pursue formal legal action regarding the matter, and the bodies of the deceased young men were subsequently handed over to their respective relatives for final rites.
