Sruthi, whose life touched the hearts of many across Kerala following the devastating landslide in Wayanad, has officially started a new chapter. She got married at the sacred ഗുരുവായര് temple in a ceremony attended by her close relatives and friends.

Details of the Wedding Ceremony

The groom, Sandeep, is a native of Mananthavady and is employed at the Wayanad Collectorate. During the auspicious wedding rituals, former minister K. Rajan acted in the paternal role to support and guide the proceedings. Expressing her feelings after the ceremony, Sruthi told the media that she felt very happy at that moment and expressed hope for a joyful future alongside a partner who understood everything she had been through.

Overcoming Overwhelming Tragedies

Sruthi's journey to this new milestone was marked by profound hardships and successive tragedies. She previously lost her parents, her sister, and six other family members when a massive landslide struck Churalmala in Wayanad, destroying her home entirely. As she tried to cope with the immense grief, her former fiancé Jenson tragically died in a road accident, an incident that also left Sruthi with injuries to her legs.

Stepping into Employment

Following her recovery and a difficult period fighting for employment, Sruthi secured a government job as a clerk in the public grievance cell (PG cell) of the Wayanad Collectorate's revenue department, officially entering service in December 2024. Now, by stepping into a marriage at the renowned temple, she moves forward with resilience and optimism.
