The latest streamer awards nominations have officially been revealed, bringing fresh global visibility to digital content creators across multiple categories. Organizers released the shortlists for the upcoming ceremony, highlighting international talent alongside familiar streaming personalities.
Among the major announcements, Nigerian livestreaming creators Habeeb Hamzat, widely known as Peller, and Oderhowo Carter Efe secured nominations for the Best International Streamer category. Details on Streamer Awards Nominations and Categories
As voting gets underway across 37 categories for the streamer awards nominations, two surprise contenders have also emerged in the running for Streamer of the Year. Meanwhile, other prominent digital personalities reacted differently to the announcement; xQc received zero nominations for the upcoming event, though he publicly noted that he still views himself as a top digital personality every day.
The recognition of international figures underscores the growing reach and engagement of local content producers across various digital platforms through consistent broadcasts, collaborations, and viral media production.
Voting Process and Event Schedule
The final outcome for each category relies on a mixed scoring system. Public votes account for 70 per cent of the result, while evaluation scores from a panel of judges make up the remaining 30 per cent.
Members of the public can cast their ballots on the official website before voting officially concludes on October 31. Following the conclusion of the voting period, the live ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on November 12, with broadcasts scheduled to stream live on both Twitch and YouTube.
