Ultraviolette X47 Venom Launch and Pricing

The Bengaluru-based electric vehicle start-up has officially introduced the ultraviolette x47 venom in the Indian market. The new electric motorcycle carries an introductory price of Rs 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which applies exclusively to the first 5,000 customers who purchase the vehicle.

Bookings for the machine opened today on the brand's official website, with the company promising that initial customer deliveries will commence by November 2026. Following its domestic introduction, the model is scheduled to launch in Europe on November 3 at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy, built upon the new VX-100 100V architecture.

Platform and Performance Details

As the inaugural model utilizing the brand's 100V platform, the vehicle introduces several proprietary technologies, including the SRB-11 battery technology and the UV LIGHTFURY electric motor. The newly developed architecture is engineered to provide higher speeds, greater range, faster charging times, and quicker acceleration while utilizing lighter, more compact subsystems.

Equipped with the SRB-11 battery technology, the ultraviolette x47 venom achieves an IDC range of 343 km on a single charge. The setup delivers a top power output of 40.2 bhp alongside a peak wheel torque of 550 Nm. Furthermore, the motorcycle supports 12 kW DC fast charging and comes with a standard 1.6 kW On-board Charger.

Speed, Handling, and Features

Performance figures indicate that the model completes a 0 to 60 kmph sprint in 2.7 seconds, while reaching 0 to 100 kmph in approximately 5.9 seconds. The manufacturer states that the vehicle can achieve a top speed of 155 kmph, outperforming conventional 200-450cc internal combustion engine motorcycles currently available in India. Tipping the scales at 180 kg, the platform is up to 20 kg lighter than its predecessor.

Notable onboard equipment includes a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen, world's first-in-segment UV Hypersense Radar intelligence, integrated front and rear dashcams, a battery management system featuring a pyro-fuse, and cruise control. The cast-aluminium battery housing offers enhanced impact protection, IP67 certification against dust and water, and improved cooling performance.
