Voice Note Emerges in Nedumbassery Accident Involving a മിനി കൂപ്പര്
A critical voice recording has surfaced in the Nedumbassery vehicle accident case involving a മിനി കൂപ്പര്, as court proceedings over bail continue.

Crucial Voice Note Submitted in Nedumbassery Crash Case
Police have obtained and presented a critical voice recording in court regarding the fatal Nedumbassery vehicle crash involving a മിനി കൂപ്പര്. The audio file features statements from one of the co-accused detailing the events following the collision that resulted in three fatalities.
Details From the Audio Recording
The 1.43-minute audio message, sent by co-accused Joel to a friend at 9:25 AM the day after the incident, was submitted to the Ernakulam Additional District Court. According to the recording, the primary accused, Suhail Sajeeve, had consumed alcohol at a bar prior to driving at an excessive speed. The vehicle subsequently struck a scooter carrying two young women and a young man, all of whom died at the scene.
The speaker noted that another companion, Ninav, urged them to leave the location immediately. Furthermore, the recording described how locals confronted Suhail after he remarked that his family would handle the situation, resulting in physical altercations before law enforcement arrived to take individuals into custody.
Legal Arguments and Court Proceedings
During the hearings on the bail applications for Suhail, Ninav, Joel, and Ameen, both the prosecution and defense presented competing arguments. The prosecution argued that the co-passengers were fully aware of the driver's intoxicated state, actively encouraged high speeds, and shared responsibility. Conversely, defense representatives contended that the initial investigation lacked neutrality and questioned how the charge of instigation applied simply due to passenger presence.
The court ultimately reserved its decision on the bail petitions for Wednesday, following extensive arguments from all legal representatives involved in the case.
